ViroGates has developed a novel method to monitor patient disease progression. The technique involves the measurement of a protein found in every individual known as soluble urokinase Plasminogen Activator Receptor (suPAR). High levels of V-suPAR are indicative of poor patient health or disease outcome. Measuring V-suPAR will serve to evaluate a individual’s health status and a patient’s progression in many different infectious diseases including HIV, Sepsis and Tuberculosis.

Originating from our own innovative research, we develop and distribute prognostic and pharmacologic products for infectious disease management with a single goal in mind: To identify risk patients early and to improve the lives of seriously infected people globally.

ViroGates is located in Copenhagen, Denmark and is a part of Medicon Valley. Our first commercial product suPARnostic™ is a blood-based test kit that provides a simple, cost-effective and highly transportable monitoring tool ensuring that the right patients receive the right treatment at the right time.
